I’m very excited about a new project I’m introducing in the Greenville market. 1Site1Day. Over the past 4 years that I’ve worked on websites, I’ve received many calls from startup businesses, small companies, or organizations that want a simple, ‘get-the-word-out’ web presense. 1Site1Day now provides that.
With 1Site1Day, users fill out a simple ‘intake’ form that provides information on what they are looking for in their site. I will call and schedule a work day with the user. On that day I will go to the customer’s site, have a morning meeting to discuss any additional details, and begin the site mockup. By mid-morning we will review the mockup together, and I will begin coding the site. By the end of the day, the site will be live on the Internet, ready for the world!
What is included in the package?
- Domain name (for example, www.domainname.com) for 1 year
- Webhosting (the server space where the actual files reside) for 1 year
- Up to 3 e-mail addresses (john@domainname.com, accounting@domainname.com, etc.) You can finally dump that AOL, Yahoo, or Hotmail account you’ve been using for business)
- An XML sitemap that will help the site be indexed properly by Google and other search engines
- Pictures taken at your site to be included on your website, or I will use the pictures that you provide (you must have rights to the pictures)
With 1Site1Day you will find NO templates. Templates are not managed by search engines as effectively as custom coding. In addition, templates are frequently difficult to customize and troubleshoot, and rarely look like the promised product.
