Handi’s Indian Cuisine
Jennifer and I enjoy trying out restaurants that are unique. While in downtown Greenville we discovered Handi’s Indian Cuisine. Only a few doors down from the Main/Coffee intersection (towards the West End), Handi’s has the freshest, best Indian food I have tasted. Our first visit was for dinner. Wonderfully prepared, beautiful food is brought to your table by Handi’s friendly, helpful staff. Every bite brings a unique blend of flavors that is completely different from any other restaurant downtown.
Once we finished our dinner we were very excited to learn that Handi’s has a lunch buffet every day, with a special buffet on Saturday/Sunday (more unique options, and some of the best bread I’ve ever tasted). The buffet is about $8 during the week, and $10 on the weekend, and worth every penny. You will leave stuffed.
I will make one other note. Some friends have expressed concern about how they will feel after an Indian meal. Will it upset their stomach, or be too spicy? There are a lot of spices at Handi’s, but the food is not ‘hot.’ I’ve never left feeling anything but satisfied, and I believe I’ve tried everything on their buffet. I hope you will enjoy it as well.
